When HSBC asked us to create content to celebrate their sponsorship of Pride London, we wanted to help people understand why it is such an important event for the LGBTQ+ community. And why it really matters to them, not just as a community, but as individuals.
So we looked at it through the eyes of two different participants - one who had attended the very first Pride march in 1972 and another who had attended their first Pride march just the year before.
